Essential Oils for the Chakras
Essential oils that resonate with each Chakra, are connected by either colour of the oil or colour of the flower the oil came from.
The connection can also come from the Aroma of the oil, for example a green smell, or dark brown smell.
Sometimes the part of the plant of which the oil is derived, or the plant itself, can lead to a connection with a certain chakra.
You might sense a connection to a chakra, by applying what you know, about the oils subtle properties, and using visualisation and meditation.
You may intuitively feel the oil is connected to a chakra, or you could dowse for the oil.
All these paths are valid, and many therapists use them.
Myrrh, reddish brown, hot and smoky in character, has an energising effect, when the Base Chakra is depleted.
Patchouli and Vetivert are also dark brown in colour, has a long lasting earthy aroma, very grounding oils.

Patchouli helps those who tend to live in their heads.
Jasmine has an infinity for the Sacral plexus, less dense in character. Jasmine and Rose are aphrodisiac oils, deeply sensual and warming in nature.
Jasmine also resonates with the Heart and Crown Chakra,

At the sacral chakra Rose connects with sexual and reproductive energy, and with the font of creativity.
